So I was reading this article about EA's finances and at the bottom of the article is said this.

E3 mid June this year... doubt it. Besides, you can use Nvidia 3DVision with most new games. I haven't tried it, but it's supposed to be amazing.

E3 is supposed to be huge this year so maybe DICE will throw out a trailer for bf3 to be released next year. We know they're working on it and that the president of EA has seen footage of it so maybe we'll get lucky.

I really just hope they push out some news on the pc version of 1943 - it's getting to be almost a year after they released the console versions and so far nothing.

I'll be tuned in when the show happens!

If I were a betting man (which I'm not) I'd give good odds that it will be released in late Q3 or early Q4 so that it is available for the holiday-2010 season. My guess is that the primary holdup is just that they want to get as many issue/bugs worked out of their first Frostbite-engine release on the PC (BC2) so that they don't have to revisit lots of issues again in BF1943. In corporate speak.... they want to make sure they use all the "lessons learned" from Bad Company 2 before they release BF1943.

I figure that they've probably almost reached the 80/20 stage for patching/fixing/updating Bad Company 2 for the PC. As such, if they *wanted* to release BF1943 I suspect they could target late summer. But.... it would make more sense to me for them to wait an extra couple of months and target the holiday season.

Anybody wanna bet me some virtual $$$ on this?
