Hey guys, I was just doing a little bit of looking around and I stumbled onto the release date for BF1943. I am definitely going to get it, even though it's like a mini-Battlefield game. I think it's coming with like 3 maps, but pretty good playability and quite a bit of customization.

Oh, the release date has now been upgraded from Q2 2010, to June 1st, 2010. So according to multiple sources and finally EA themselves, the official release date for the PC BF1943 game is June 1st. Should be a pretty fun game from the look of it, but probably won't command as much of my attention as BC2.

I'm still on the fence.

Fully expect to get it myself. My hope is that it is similar to Bad Company 2 except that it leaves out the vast majority of the language that is in Bad Company 2. Its not that my virgin ears have any concerns wtih playing it myself. But.... it would be cool if it was cleaned-up enough that I felt comfortable fragging alongside my youngest son.

We shall see I guess....
